Season 2 Faction Rally Rewards
With the release of Curse of Osiris, each Faction has received 5 new weapons. These weapons become available over the course of the season, and cannot be earned through Faction Engrams immediately.
In the first Faction Rally of Season 2 (this week), there is a new Auto Rifle available as the Winner’s Offering. No new Faction Weapons are available through Faction Engrams.
In the second Faction Rally of the season, the Winner’s Offering is updated to a new weapon. Additionally, the previous Winner’s offering (Auto Rifles) and an additional weapon are added to Faction Engram rewards.
The final Faction Rally of the season will follow this functionality: The Winners Offering will be updated to a final weapon that has yet to be featured. The previous Winner’s Offering will be added to the Faction Engram rewards, alongside an additional weapon. This brings the total to four weapons within the Faction Engram, and a final Winner’s Offering for factions to compete for over the course of the event.

Seems like info that should have been in the last TWAB. So should we assume that the weapons for the two losing factions in the last rally will be available in the first faction rally of season 3? Won't there be a new dlc at that point? It would be weird to unlock Curse of Osiris dlc gear during the next dlc. Maybe clear this up as well?

So once we unlock all of the orniments there is no reason to do the rally. Its takes forever to grind these tokens and nothing new so no need to participate. thank you bungie

This is the first time I have truly been disappointed with the game. I have fun and I play no matter of all of the Eververse hype but this is literally Bungie saying screw you to their loyal community. Why?????????

So now you guys dicide to tell us upfront that there is no need to play your events. Well ok, thanks for the tip, i won’t. Don’t really understand the tactics behind this but then again, i don’t understand your tactics behind the whole game.

To point out the obvious: one new gun every several weeks (average out introduction of rally loot over the season) is MegaYawnTastic™. Not to mention, that leaves 2 guns that no one will see (losing 2 factions at the very end). Also new stuff at the end just before the end of the season = it's irrelevant just in time for season 3. Oh wait, we probably will have lots of time to enjoy it in the beginning of season 3 before any new loot is allowed to drop then. It's about time you guys did a retreat with the Diablo 3 loot designers. They know how to do gratification without dilution. The Division figured it out and totally reversed their game appeal 180˚. MAKE IT RAIN LOOT. (Also, the other main topic then would be: let's get back to the slightly faster pace of D1? The other half of the meaning of "looter-shooter". MAKE IT RAIN SHOOT)

Faction rallies are treated like a World Cup or the Olympics/ Paralympics but they're just another grind for tokens. It would've been good to grind location tokens too so we can get more masterwork cores for the upcoming armour, but the timer on the Lost sectors makes that difficult

All Bungie is doing now is panic answering when we complain. What's the point of playing this one at all? May as well just wait for the last one... And I guarantee something will go wrong on that and we will not be able to get the last weapon. Why not just make it so you can buy the guns and be done with it. Bah.
