I've been thinking about this topic for the past couple of days and I think that I have it pretty well thought out. I think I have a good solution for Ghost, Sparrow, Ship & most importantly, Shader collections. Back in Destiny 1, there were Kiosks which held the Sparrows, Ships, Shaders, & other items that you have collected along your journey. If you ever visited the Vault Kiosk in the Tower or the Farm, you would see that they actually have brought back the Emote, Emblem, Exotic Armor, & Exotic Weapon Kiosks, except instead of Kiosks, they're now under the Collection tabs in the Vault. Knowing this, they should make Collection tabs for Ghosts, Sparrows, Ships, & Shaders. Now you might as, but don't all Ghosts & Sparrows of have randomly generated perks? Yes, they do, and I've thought about that as well. As of right now, the only way to get any of those 4 things are through Bright Engrams, & if you get any of them with a perk you don't like, you would have to try to get another one through a Bright Engram. Here's how it will work in the new system that I though of: 1. Just like the Collection tabs that are in the vault, Every Ghost, Sparrow, Ship, & Shader that you own (Also including the new ones that you get down the line) will be listed in their own Collection tab, just like they were in Destiny 1. 2. If you want any new perks on any Ghosts or Sparrows, you can buy them again from the Collection tabs in the Vault with Legendary Shards to try to get your desired perk. if you want any more Shaders since they're only a 1 time use, you can do the same to buy more, the Shaders that you buy from the Collection tabs could even come in quantities of 5 shards each. As far as the Ships go, they don't have anything randomly generated on them except for the transmate effects, so ether Ships can be bought for free from the Collection tabs, our you can buy them with shards, which ever way Bungie would want to do it. This pretty much sums up the system that I had in mind that could serve as a solution For Ghost, Shader, Sparrow, & Ship collections. Let me know what you guys think.
