SIVA Exotic weapon concept.

The weapon would be like a Suros Regime, or Skyburner's Oath, with a different RoF when Aiming down sights (Single shot, and Full auto once again). However, instead of simply changing the RPM and Impact, the gun changes its mode. When aiming down sights, the gun fires a targeting beacon. When hip-firing, the gun shoots 'Smart Bullets' that have a small amount of tracking. The tracking would basically enable you to unleash the bullets, rather than precisely aiming and controlling the weapon. Kills with the gun could refill the ammo reserves. Basically, the SIVA are not only killing the enemy, they are turning it into SIVA weapon ammunition. Another spin on this concept is that the SIVA swarm basically assimilates enemies into more SIVA, and those SIVA would then attack whatever you targeted next. This would allow you to basically 'Rampage' with the weapon. There are all sorts of characteristics that could be fiddled with here, including duration of SIVA swarm, etc. The gameplay sequence involves: Aim down sights, shoot target in head/precision area. Hip-fire the SIVA Smart Bullets that track towards the location that was targeted. What this would do: Give 100% Precision shots, if you hip-fire decently and aren't too close to the target. Give nearly unlimited ammo, if you are killing enemies with the weapon. Avoiding the 'Juggler' mechanic, incidentally. There was some Exotic Pulse Rifle from Rise of Iron, that basically had a 'Wolfpack Round' effect. While this isn't a bad idea, I think my idea is significantly better, and more original. I don't have a name, but it could be as simple as The Swarm, or Assimilation Complex, or something along the lines. I also was thinking about a potential baked in downside. In MTG, there are downsides baked in to cards that would normally be too powerful given their CMC. So what I was thinking is, after you kill an enemy the SIVA swarm will attempt to come back to the weapons user, and potentially damage the user if they still have the gun out. The more bullets it takes to kill an enemy, the more damage it would do to the user as the swarm comes back. Basically, you would want to swap to a different gun to prevent this damage from occurring. Or, it could even be the opposite, and damage the user if the gun is stowed, which might be a better idea. Either way, there is some room here for how it would affect gameplay.
