We Need to Talk

Bungie we need to talk, After everything we've been through, it's over. I was loyal in Destiny 1 because things were always improving for the better. There used to be communication and we used to work through problems together. Now things have gotten comfortable and you don't treat me the same way. The nice ways you used to treat me: not locking me out of content, actually putting out new content worth the money, not locking half of the expansion content behind the Eververse paywall, rewarding my perseverance and hard-work instead of forcing me to work at your pace. I could go on honestly, but the real issue boils down to one thing. Respect. You don't respect me. You're dishonest and I won't be fooled anymore. I should have seen the first red flag when the game came out and looked and felt like Destiny 1. Not in terms of the game-play, that I wasn't expecting to change, but in terms of: the lack of content at launch, the lack of any meaningful endgame content (outside of just grinding for Bright Engrams which you lied about until I caught you), the reuse of the same guns from Destiny 1, the EXACT same enemies from Destiny 1 but with palette swaps, and now I am seeing you fumble things you've already done well before while you make the same mistakes we've already talked about. You keep making the same mistakes and apologizing but in the end you've already been incredibly dishonest with me and I already know you don't respect me, so why should I believe you now? I won't. I can't. I'm sorry to say that even after buying a console and PC version of the game, we're done. It's over. Until I see some real improvements: brand new and interesting enemies and weapons and armor, expansions with real new and meaty content, and BURN THE EVERVERSE TO THE GROUND. You can say sorry all you want but after all this your actions need to speak louder than words I can't trust. If you want to make a real apology, the last condition must be met. You can't have two loves. It's me or the Eververse at this point. I used to be OK with that, it didn't ever really impact me in Destiny 1 because it didn't use to be 80% of your new content. But now I can't stand it. This behavior comes from loving the Eververse more than me. I'm sure someone else will come along and fall for your same tricks, and I pity them, but I take solace in the knowledge that it's only a matter of time before they learn what you are really like just like I have. Good luck out there. Sincerely, 90% of the fan-base
