3 characters with different level drops - bug or feature?
TL/DR first: I have 3 different characters all 300+ but they are getting clearly different levels of drops from all blue / purple drops and engrams (during play and also from vendors). Is this a bug?
Long story: I have a titan , warlock and hunter that I have run through the game in that order. They are all now at 300+ light level with 2 of them possible at 305 with the right geer. For some reason though when I get drops while playing and also when I use tokens at vendors (Tower vendors and world vendors) I get the below specific light levels every time:
Titan: 293/294 - 295 rarely
Warlock 295 - 297
Hunter 297 - 299 (300 on occasion)
Exotic engrams are also affected but have a +5 level as usual.
I probably play the most on my Titan, although I give them all a run each week.
Is this an aspect of the game that everyone experiences? I can't see why it might be in there but maybe it is. If i wanted to get my Titan to have better drops would it be worth restarting the character?
If its a bug will it be fixed?

1 RespuestaSo when you have a character at 305 Power Level, you need to account for the mods, meaning the base Power Level is 300. When a character has a base Power Level of 300, they will receive engrams anywhere from 295 to 300 (300 to 305 with the mods accounted for). For the characters not at 305 Power Level yet, you need to take account for the base Power (usually will be around 298 to 299 depending), and then account for them being "Legendary Engrams", not "Powerful Engrams", thus the engrams will drop around 294/295 until you reach that max base power threshold. Once you reach the max base power, the engrams are subjected to RNG whether they drop at 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, or rarely 300, however the Powerful Engrams will drop at 300.

2 RespuestasAll normal drops will drop lower than your overall power level. Vendors will rotate on which one will be selling higher power leveled items. Sometimes they will be 300, sometimes not. Basically it's all RNG.
