I have read in a few places now that this seems to be the consensus.
Anyone know for Sure? Bungie can you confirm either way, please?
Thanks in advance!

Kind of Bullshite. If I have 500 Vanguard Tokens I should be able to keep them forever. But noooo, I have to use them for gear I dont want because Bungie can just wipe them clean. Thats absolute Bullshit.

I don't know what other posters are talking about losing stuff when a new DLC launched. We never lost any kind of ongoing important resource when any of the DLCs dropped in D1. The few times when a resource was discontinued it still gave rep which is what all of our tokens do now. When each DLC dropped in D1 I and anyone that cared to do it had plenty of resources banked to be max level possible, without endgame gear, almost immediately. I would not worry about that.
-
Look back at d1 and when new dlc would drop things would change
-
probably. that's kind of Bungies game. Also, to those who don't k ow, if you don't buy the dlc you will be locked out of most of the vanilla content, which is what they always do. expect an even more stripped down version of this crap game on dlc day

All shards and notes will be reset. Only the box of raisins and the celery stick will carry iver for the year one exotic quest. I have nearly gotten the exotic after years of grinding. The enhanced celery from year one and the other steps leading up to it.
-
I'm already on the fence about buying the season pass. If they decide to wipe the tokens/resources I'm out. I'm not going to pay them to disrespect my time investment.
-
Lol this is your top concern? To answer your question, I don't know. I don't think bungie knows either to he honest. They will find out when it goes live, since that's when they do their testing.
-
Yep all tokens and shards resetted
-
Since they are intent on pissing everyone off I,m assuming yes
-
I stored my nm tokens from last time in my vault and they stayed until i spent them this go around. So maybe if u put them in your vault?
-
Only way to really know is when they talk about the dlc in their livestreams
-
Since everything else has favored casuals in this game, I wouldn’t be surprised if they reset. Wouldn’t want anyone feeling disadvantaged for not playing the game as much as others.
-
I had FWC tokens received as a nightfall reward for some reason between the two faction rallies. Didn't care - thought I could spend them when faction rally came around again. Faction rally came, and my tokens were gone. Could not spend. Spend those tokens people, because Bungie will take them away. They want you to grind for mediocre crap, not get it with sweat you provided ages back.

Editado por TresOoono: 11/13/2017 8:24:45 PMThis would be another slap to the face so i assume yes Plus you wont be able to infuse old weapons to the new light level
-
If there is a god then yes.
-
Ha! You think they're going to tell you the answer? If they say no then that will result in people no longer grinding until the dlc. If they say yes then that will result in an influx of people actually stock piling for the next dlc. So they will respond with a "maybe" or work in progress and they will take them away with a "we saw people exploiting things for token blah blah blah".
-
What I am curious about, will our current gear be infusible to get up to the higher power level? I started thinking about some of the past things Bungie has pulled, and wondering if our current gear is locked to be max 305 so we have to ditch it at the DLC.
-
I believe there should be a more uniform currency, I have a few thousand tokens right now that I have been farming for the last month and a bit. But I am guessing if they did change it your tokens would be converted. Kind of how they did with the Crucible and Vanguard marks from D1, and they were merged into Legendary Marks. Or you would be able to turn them into the new currency in game.
-
answer unclear - I except the 3 livestreams coming up may answer that - but it wouldn't be the first time we had to reset gear and progression from one part of the game til the next.
-
No..That's a pre-determined vendor-based form of currency, which won't change, so there would be no reason to lose anything. The current vendors aren't going away, just new ones added.
-
That would be a kick in the Warlock for everyone who actually played, so I hope not.
-
Only if they completely switch away from tokens and resources, which I think is very unlikely.
-
No one knows but it would be just like Bungina to punish the people that actually still play
