lol I had to question if there was something new and that I was doing it wrong / missing certain conditions. I signed on basically wanting to buy Thunderlord (love it!!!) and those Wizzard-gloves (meh?) and the first 3 or 4 first times I tried to go see Xur, I could X/approach, and then... nothing. no menu, no spending-of-sugarlumps. and that was with going to orbit between each attempt. the game would consume the hold-down-X and then... Xur would just stand there talking Ahamkara-nonsense as usual. no menu, nothing. and could not even attempt to approach again, unless I did orbit or fast-travel away and back again. and even then? same thing. after a few times, I finally got to Xur's gear menu. but, even funnier, on that 5th or 6th (8th?) attempt, although I marked Xur on my map, the HUD-marker never once showed up at all, whether I had the Ghost up or not. I had to go find Xur by knowing exactly where that jerkface was after all the previous attempts. so, heckuva-usual-jorb, bungo!
