Why I hate that the Raid emblems are all rare

The rarity is supposed to be Bungie's way of saying "this is what we think this emblem is worth". It pissed me off in D1 that the Eye of Osiris emblem, the ONLY Exotic emblem in the entire game, was only available in year 1. The reason? Well, besides the fact that it looked cool and I wanted it, was that no other emblem was Exotic. To me, this meant that no other activity was deemed worthy of having an exotic emblem at the end of it, that nothing else we did was "as good". It's like constantly being taunted that you're the second best at something, that there's something JUST out of your reach that you will never obtain. That's a -blam!-ing horrible feeling, and I think that there were a lot of other emblems that should've been exotic (Especially the All in All emblem from Age of Triumph, we did A LOT to get that, and I think it should have been recognized). So, to put it bluntly, it's like the rarity of emblems is supposed to acknowledge the trials and tribulations the player overcame to obtain that emblem. To have an emblem at a lower rarity than it should be is like Bungie is undervaluing our achievements. I mean, right now you can obtain legendary emblems by simply unlocking all perks in a subclass' skill tree, something that any player can do at level 12. It's like Bungie saying that completing the Raid is worth less than that.
