upvote if you are unhappy with D2 at the moment and want returned features from d1

It has been a month since destiny 2 launch and I think its safe to say a lot of people are unhappy with it at the current moment but let me, first of all let me reiterate that it's not a disaster or the end of destiny that people are making it out to be. The game has more improved worlds that all of the interesting landscapes and also public events are such well down also the story was ok but not spectacular but I am sure they will improve and now that out of the way let me point out some of the things missing from d2 that were present in d1 1)Armor ornaments both raid, trials and normal armour that was present from rise of iron 2)Adept weapons from trials and hard mode raid 3)good powerful exotics(not all but the majority of them were 100% better than d2) 4)Heroic Strike playlist 5)Strike specific loot 6)Black spindle like hidden quest 7)Raid specific armour perks 8)Record book 9)A lot fewer weapons with little to no variation of perks 10)Private matches( although they said it will be coming later) These are things I was hoping Bungie would expand in D2 but nope. I hope Bungie understand that just by creating a story with cutscenes doesn't mean you don't have to care about other aspects of the game which it seems like they didn't pay attention at while creating D2. There is a reason so many voices their opinion in this game cause they see the potential except the trolls but seriously Bungie has to start listening to its core fans more than casuals and I seriously expected more out of this game since it was directed by Luke Smith the guy who brought us VOG and Taken King and it's just disappointing to see all of these features present from d1 being left behind which I know they will add eventually but I expected more out of this sequel.I jumped on D1 every day and in D2 after a month, I don’t feel like coming back at all I will not stop playing this game completely but it seems like destiny as a franchise is moving towards a more basic FPS approach which I hate to see. I sincerely hope Bungie listens to it fans and fixes the core issues before its too late. If you can please take the time out of your day to upvote it so the developers can see whats wrong with the game so they can start fixing stuff. I really do want this game to succeed and I really really hope Bungie doesn't do this kind of mess up again.

  • Destiny 2 is still very new. I can understand where you're coming from on the current limited end-game options. After I finish all of my weeklies and help out my clan members, the rest of the week consists of standing on a box at The Tower leering over at Master Rahool. *bites lip* Nonetheless, you really need to consider that Destiny 2 is still fresh and take into account that they have slowly been adding in some familiar content. It took awhile for Destiny to get to where it was, with all the content to experience and endless loot to discover. For us vets of Destiny 1, this is sort of like building an empire and then suddenly blinking and find yourself back in the beginning when all you had was a plot of land. There are a lot of nice additions and changes that they have made, we just need to be patient while they add more content over time. I'm sure they have a lot of big plans.
