Fellow Gaurdians,
I just wanted to post this to hopefully help you save some time! Guided games are a great idea and so far from my experience they take the toxic players out of the mix and give you nice teammates to work with. The nightfall experience with them is the way I get my nightfall completed each week now.
The raid is a different story...
I joined as a seeker and it took over an hour to pair me up with a clan. This clan immediately wanted to abandon the activity so we could load their checkpoint at Calus. I did not want to be rude, so I accepted. We wiped 10-20 times before hitting a single damage phase. After an hour of them joking around loudly on the mics when symbol call outs were suppose to be done, I asked them if it would be okay for me to leave. They were again very polite and obliged.
I waiting for over an hour, and fought for over an hour... I got nothing. Meanwhile on LFG I found a team in under five minute and we beat the entire raid in a little over an hour.
I realize that LFG can lead to toxic players, but even if it takes you 30-45 minutes to find a good team, you are still better off going that route. If you do guided games you wait for 45 minutes + in orbit doing absolutely nothing to be randomly assigned to a team.

I've only had one guided raid experience. There were five of us and we wanted to try it out for once. We got one guy, 285 PL, and he was pretty chill, caught on quickly and it was all in all an enjoyable experience. Took us a few tried to get Calus but we were able to to it in the end.
