The Hard Light in D2 is good. It feels satisfying to use, and it deals pretty good damage. The unique thing about D2 Hard Light is that you can choose which elemental damage it deals. The problem with this is that you have to go to the gun in the menu to be able to switch elements. This takes around 10 seconds and exposes you to take damage while switching. A solution to this is to simply add the option of clicking down the right joystick (or perhaps another button) to switch between elements. This would allow instant switching and doesn't expose you to unnecessary damage/ doesn't require you to hide while switching.
