Just a heads up for other PC players, this recent help article from Blizzard doesn't bode well if you're used to playing Destiny with cross-region friends. This setup won't be anything new for those already invested in Blizzard's ecosystem, but for those who aren't and those of us who had their hopes up for region free, well, it doesn't look like it's to be so. For those unaware, regions on the service are typically Americas, Asia, China and Europe.
