I consider myself to only be good at fusions PvP wise. As such, I have used all of these fusions except Pocket Infinity in PvP before, and want to see what Bnet has to say on what I consider to be the best fusions in the game.
I see the Thesan as the best of all the fusions in the game. It can kill in five bolts and has very well rounded stats overall, with a clear focus in stability. Its stability is not quite enough for it to reach 100 with injection mould, so Braced Frame is the better option. Its very high equip speed combined with hot swap makes it the best fusion for using the best fusion rifle strategy - precharging in the hip and letting loose the burst the instant you ADS. This significantly improves recoil and makes landing 5 bolts incredibly easy.
The Saladin's is often considered by players who don't know what makes a fusion rifle great as the best fusion ever introduced. I disagree. This is the second best fusion rifle ever. Compared to the Thesan, it has slower charge time, higher damage per bolt, higher range, significantly worse (BASE) stability, worse reload (who cares) and - this is what makes it second best - much lower equip speed. The higher bolt damage is the main draw of the weapon, making it easier to kill because only four bolts need to hit. However, every other stat is essentially worse or negligibly better than the thesan, meaning you are sacrificing the charge and equip speed of the Thesan for needing to hit one less bolt. However, if you are playing correctly it is rarely needed to have the four bolt kill.
The Vacancy is a straight downgrade to the Thesan due to its only advantage being a 1 point increase in damage per bolt, making the damage 49 per bolt. This does not change the amount of bolts needed, so it is nothing comparatively. It is a good substitute until you get a Thesan, however, because it is still a very good fusion rifle.
Plan C has its exotic perk allowing for very fast kills, making it certainly an S tier fusion - if it had better stability. Also, the exotic slot could be used better for something like SUROS or NLB.
Panta Rhei is an average fusion apart from its recoil direction, which is a very high 80 from the get-go, making it very easy to control. It is best used for the tactic of aiming for the feet. However, it is still best to use the ADS trick with the thesan and go for center mass.
Pocket infinity is an abysmally bad fusion...when there isn't more than one person in the room. If there is, enjoy the triple down you put no effort into getting.
Other is for...other things.
Don't vote for other if your favourite fusion is the Vex Mythoclast; it is only a fusion rifle for the purposes of how the bolts work.

My biggest games have come with Plan C, Panta Rhei, and The Waiting in that order. My favorite is probably Sleeper Simulant.

Editado por EJCreeper: 3/26/2017 3:24:53 PMSaladin's Vigil. This is because of huge magazine and 4 bolt kills. #2 is the Waiting.

FRs are all abou one thing: Consistency Saladin's Vigil is #1 in this regard. Hitting 4 instead of 5 bolts happens on a regular basis (due to lag, wizards or whatever). In order to still get the kill, you'll need a 95+ FR like the SV. Stability doesn't really have a big impact on a FR performance. I have a SV with rifled barrel, single-point-sling and rangefinder. I prefer it over my Thesan FR4 with Torch, hot swap, acc. coils and rangefinder. Low charge rate? Pre-charging is key. Low stability? Pull the right stick down while shooting, problem solved. Here's a video of a SV streak which wouldn't have been possible with a 5-bolt-kill FR like the Thesan: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=N54Z98iE694

Anything that falls under the slow charging-hard hitting archetype. After that, whatever has the best perks in my collection.

Fusion grenades :)

With the lower equip speed on Saladin's, you can just get QuickDraw.

Techeun Rage

The vacancy a downgrade to the thesan? This is just my opinion but the vacancy is the best, personal favorite since its second vendor roll. It's only damage fluctuates, goes from 49-51 giving it a 4 bolt potential and I also kill further with it too.

Plan C is god. 89% of you are godless heathens.

I actually really like the WOTM raid fusion rifle. Hits hard, can easily one shot enemies, and cand recharge your grenades really fast with each kill.
-
Ether Nova, very fast charging, And year one was Light of Abyss, I wish they would bring it back.
-
I see my vacancy on your list, good on you fellow guardian!

I like your taste in fusion rifles. I have a thesan in each flavor. I prefer torch, rangefinder, and accelerated coils but I only play pve. It's almost as quick to fire as plan c.

Thesan and Vacancy have always been overrated. Hitchhiker is my all time favorite. Sally V, Plan C, the Foil and The Vortex are my other go-to's. Here's a few vooptages. Only watch if you have excellent taste in fusion rifles and music 😉 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=efjKaNTHIqk https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A0ad4xnCMfA https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uL0AlIcqTAM https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tE5sq3Z69x4

I'm sorry, but from someone who's used both guns, I'd say the Vigil is better. The ADS speed is literally the only thing Thesan has going for it. The Thesan's best-in-class 81 stability really isn't worth much as it can't roll Rifled Barrel to capitalize on that rating. The Vigil, on the other hand, kills in 4 bolts compared to 5 (despite charging a microscopic amount slower), has the highest stability of all 4-bolt killing weapons, and has an insanely high recoil direction stat of 93 when using Linear Compensator. For those who like Range, it can roll with Rifled + Rangefinder, and maintain a still very high base stability stat of 63. ADS speed is certainly a nice perk to have, but it's not a deal breaker and it's the only real advantage the Thesan has. The Vigil takes a bit of getting used to due to its slow charge, but it's a monster. I went from the old TTK vendor Panta Rhei to Ether Nova (don't laugh -- I actually sorta liked it), to a stability God roll Panta Rhei, to the Vigil. And the Vigil blew me away with how consistent it was compared to those previous guns. Never could get used to the Thesan. Also, as an honorable mention, I believe the Each New Day from Crucible rank-ups can roll with both Counterbalance (it's pretty pitiful in the recoil direction stat) and Icarus, which is a perk I never see on fusions. Still grinding for one of those.

I dislike how you have more sniper and shotgun kills than you do fusion kills. This disappoints me.
-
I have what is in my opinion, a perfect rolled thesan (on warlock) & vigil (on Titan). Hundreds of kills with both. 23k kills with fusions total so I'm not just talking out of my ass. But vigil is WAY more consistent with kills compared to thesan. If you're popping in & out of cover correctly like you should be when using a fusion, that slight difference in charge time really doesn't matter.

VEX. The most OP fusion rifle the game has ever seen. There is also a certain fusion rifle you get from the VOG raid that is considered very very good. Was it around before your time? Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

Why is the "Hitchhiker FR4" not on this list? 🤔 Rifled barrel range finder max impact.😬
