Faction legacy weapons or packages
Anyone ever wish the old Y1 or TTK faction weapons were still available in the current loot pool for rank up packages?
The game currently supports Vanguard and Crucible Legacy weapons in the rank up loot tables. Why not do the same with the Factions?
I managed to save some important weapons from TTK like the OG Hung Jury, Hawksaw, The Vacancy. But there are weapons I wish I could still get like Conviction II, Righteous VII, The Villainy, etc.
And the list grows even longer with pre TTK Y1 stuff. I miss you Prudence and Chosen!! There were some iconic faction weapons in the past that are simply gone unless you were lucky enough to have the vault space.
Who thinks Bungie should add faction legacy weapons to the rank up packages? If so, what weapons would you like to see come back?

EDIT 2: I really like the idea to combine the Chroma package with the regular armor package. And separate the current weapon package and Legacy weapon package. This could be implemented for Vanguard, Crucible, and all factions. - credit to BookEmDano
EDIT: some good discussion here guys. I like the idea of having a separate legacy package as an option. That would be cool. What are some weapons you all think should come back?

1 RespuestaWhy don't we have weekly/daily faction bounties like the vanguard yet? 3 weekly ones like the new zavala ones. 5 or 6 daily ones? To help increase rep without spending mats. the weekly would give up to 400 faction gear.

1 Respuestayeah i agree but i also wish that maybe you could get a special emblem or shader for every 25 levels you rank up. being at over 100 for both dead orbit and fwc and nothing to show for it kinda sucks.

Yeah man. I still have my Y1 New Monarchy scout rifle. It was my favorite, most reliable gun. It would bring such joy to bring back the old faction weapons.

A great idea. The Venation II has been permanently missing from my inventory, and we are now in year three.

Thing is - once weapons are brought forward into the current environment and subject to the nerfs they are more or less just like everything else in their class no longer offering any heads above the rest advantage = moot point aside from cosmetics/nostalgia.
