Full disclosure I'm a Titan and committed Defender. With the recent changes to the special ammo economy in the crucible I have been thinking a little about how that affects the ability of a Titan like myself to defend my bubble. Obviously a shotgun is a nice tool to have inside the ward of dawn when you want to keep would be intruders out. Unfortunately the loss of special ammo on death makes having ammunition available at any given moment less of a certainty (unless you run a sidearm). The Replenish perk on some special weapons could be a useful way to ensure a minimum supply of special ammo for us bubble users. While I have another shotgun with replenish and I can use that one I'd like to make a case for making Replenish part of the Bouncer perk on Immobius. I love that shotgun but it doesn't get a lot of use by most titans. It's always lacked the range or impact to be thought of as part of a solid crucible load out for most Titans. The gun is built around the idea of using armor of light in your ward of dawn. It really doesn't work as a shotgun rusher's weapon because of its deficiencies in range and impact. But now that special ammo is lost on death it's even less likely to see use in the crucible. I think tying Replenish to the Bouncer perk (and correspondingly requiring the use of armor of light in said bubble) makes sense and wouldn't mean some massive advantage for us Defenders. We simply get a magazine full of ammo for the gun that was specifically made for us and intended for bubble defense. And yes I know I could run invective or another shotgun with Replenish as I said before. But it's because those options are available that I don't think adding Replenish to Immobius would break anything. I think it sort of plays right to the essence of the Defender Titan. And since the gun still isn't viewed as a great example of the archetype I don't think it will dramatically change how much it's used. But I'd use it and I like using my Titan specific gear.
