Refer a friend
Ok so my friend and I are wanting to do the refer a friend. He owns the game and goes to the link. The the link gets to a page that says almost there to link do so and so or go and purchase the taken kind DLC. When he hits it it takes him to a page to buy except it's for the rise of iron DLC instead. I know this because it's marked $30 for it and the taken king is inky $20. So what's going on?

The Veteran establishes a link with his/her Referee via this link: https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/ReferAFriend At the bottom of the page it will say 'Refer a friend to Destiny!'. When you click this button a screen will pop-up. You must select the console you'd like to do the quest on. It will then generate a code for you. This code must be sent to the referee. This can be done by things such as e-mail, facebook or Bungie.net. The referee must click the link and accept your offer. If your friend doesn't own The Taken King you can NOT do the quest.
