Fusion rifle change
I have a quick suggestion for fusion rifles that I think would make them more viable. They're already pretty good but I do think they could afford to be a little better.
So my suggestion is to fire off the bolts in more rapid succession than they are right now. Sometimes only a few bolts fire and then I'm killed by a shotgun or I'll melee right after I fire and only 3 bolts will come out. Making them shoot in more rapid succession would just make sure that you'll be firing off all of the bolts per trigger pull and not wasting any shots.
Edit: There seems to be a lot of comments about fusion rifles being in a good place and I agree. I love fusions and don't want to make using them "easier". I titled this post as a "change" instead of a "buff" because I think that this is possibly unintended by Bungie, seeing as you lose one whole shot but only several bolts fire instead of the full seven. I don't think this is a buff, I think it's more of a fix. But let me know what you think down in the comments.

1 RespuestaYou know what they should change? The ghosting of the bolts when you die. You KNOW that the weapon fired, and directly hit too. But where did the bolts go?

Fusion Rifles are in a great place. Let's stop trying to get weapon buffs to cater to ourselves. They already have minuscule charge times at even the highest charge time and have outrageous ranges for kills.

1 RespuestaFusions are for players that anticipate and have great spacial awareness. Its about seeing that hard red on radar, charging up, and poking out when its about to fire, anticipating where the enemy will be. If youre not popping shots off fast enough maybe consider charging ealier than youre used to or sub for a faster fire rate. Plan C is also a good alt, though its quick zap is unreliable at times. Just play with it more and use it more defensively. More often than not your enemy is packing a shotgun and will come to you. Running at them first with a charge based weapon against that will leave you dead more often than not.

9 RespuestasFusion rifles are fine were they r at, it just takes a bit of skill, plus sometimes if u r lucky and skilled enough u can trade a kill. But yes when u die the bolts should continue instead of stop. And u shouldn't be able to interrupt the charge by anything except by letting go of the trigger.

I see a common theme how we compare all guns to shotguns.. yet some people think they are balanced? Lol its so dumb.. sorry off topic, i think fusions are amazing right now.. but shotguns are EASIER and take LESS SKILL.

5 RespuestasI don't think u could spray with it then. That's one of the most fun things to do with fusion rifles; hitting multiple targets by spraying the bolts horizontally or vertically.

2 RespuestasI think fusion rifles are in a good place. All that needs to be fixed is they seem fairly inconsistent. One moment you're killing someone in one burst from 20-30 meters out and the next minute you're shooting 3 bursts to kill a guy 5 meters away.

Exactly... the trade off with a point blank shotgun rusher should kill them too, but they walk away and we lose.
