You fail to mention the fact that vex from the future are completely capable of coming back and killing us without the Vaults power.

But they didn't want to... at least not in Blood of the Garden. No... you just had to get the NTTE quest done.

Well there is where I am wrong as I have not forced myself to go to FWC for the quest yet. So I don't have that grimoire

The Blood in the Garden mission doesn't have a card in the database and NTTE's card doesn't mention it. You just gotta wait and not shoot the Vex.
