If you've ever played pvp you would know their design goals are complete bullsh*t and they're lying to us. Here's a video that explains it well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GBltFHQOVA People only complain about the matchmaking and want it to change because they love playing the game and the fact that Bungie is basically lying to us just adds fuel to the fire.

I don't know if you're a regular on the forums- but there have been a number posts where it has been stated that when the poster doesn't use a Netduma, they are getting connected to people on different continents and have terrible lag, and when they use their Netduma to restrict the connection range they can have matches with people in their local area with good connection. So in many instances there has been evidence presented that CBMM is not the first priority- which is why so many people are accusing Bungie of lying in their description of current matchmaking. Also, if you play a lot, clearly SBMM, regardless of the technicalities of the search order or iterations, is very strong. Playing with a couple of weaker players versus high skill players make a drastic difference. And beyond that- with how horrible the matchmaking has been the past two weeks (constant joining of matches in progress, starting with uneven teams, terrible lag), people are clamoring for a change- and there has been no concession by Bungie that anything needs to be changed. People who love crucible don't just want to quit- they want it to be better. But with the current conditions more and more people are finding crucible unplayable.

You have spent weeks talking about wanting CBMM, when you have had it the whole time! And you guys are still complaining about how do you still want CBMM when that is what you already have. Getting rid of the little bit of SBMM that is in the matchmaking won't matter because it only makes it skill based when connection is fine. Every time your connection is bad it means that you aren't being paired with people at your skill level. So stop complaining you had what you want all along. Next time think about what your saying before screaming. And for the love of god just stop with all the posts about getting rid of SBMM and adding CBMM! You guys ask Cosmo why CBMM isn't on the community wish list. It is because the wish list is for things people want to add into the game. And you can't add something if it has been there the whole time! So please just stop you guys had what you want the entire time and you still complain. you should be calmly talking to bungie about suggestions and ideas as well as thanking bungie for listening, because all you have been doing is throwing crap at them about something, when they have been doing what you guys want the entire time. I swear the next time I see a post from some child talking about "SBMM is ruining this game!!!" I will lose my shit l. So stop complaining and just enjoy the damn game!
