Khvostov Questline not initiating via Ketch Corner Chest
I've already gone through the Khvostov questline and earned my exotic. However, for those characters that haven't gotten that schematic from that chest are not given a chance to start it to acquire the quest and mission.
I figured it is just an annoying bug in the way. But I really want to get the schematics just to see that mission selection on the Cosmodrome map. I go back to the Ketch every time and even after finishing all of Rise of Iron quests and missions. Still, nothing out of that chest.
I don't particularly expect other characters to be out of question for the options of starting the questline. I want to see what other people on the forums would like to say in this regard. Help a brother out and comment your experience. And if you've come back after reading this and trying it out for yourself, do you think my argument is valid?

Has bungie replied to this? I wonder if it is somehow time limited and you have to wait for the weekly reset to do it next.

When you use the intel relay key, you will hear your ghost tell you about some hive. If you get out into the open and don't see hive running from the ketch, turn around and go to the doorway where you used the key, but don't go through (the lasers will re-activate and you will need another key). When you see the zone change, you can turn around again, but walk very slowly. You only have to walk until you reach the open and can see the ketch and hive. I hope this helps anyone still having trouble with the schematics.

I'm having the same problem. Got the Khvostov on my warlock, but I've now tried 27 times to get the schematic from that chest on my hunter. Unsuccessfully. It doesn't make any sense, because all the other exotic quests (like No Time to Explain, Sleeper Stimulant, new Gjallarhorn, etc.) were always available to each of my three characters separately. I could, of course, just go buy one off the wall ... at LL 320 ... but ... NO! I want to do the quest on my hunter, and get the drop at 350. And then I want to do it again on my titan.

1 RespuestaYep same here. Already got it on my first character. Just tried to get the schematic from the ketch chest on my Warlock and got a blue engram for my efforts! After reading your post I'll not bother wasting any more time / keys trying to get it.
