Did anyone else get an Exotic from a Legendary engram when taking it out of the mail?
So I'm not really sure what happened, but yesterday I was just grabbing some loot I had missed out of my mailbox. There was a blue engram and a Legendary primary weapon engram and when I clicked to take out the Legendary engram it just turned into a light level 334 Red Death. Needless to say, I'm confused, is that just a rare thing that can happen?

1 RespuestaYou can get exotics out of purple engrams (mainly from the sublime variety, iirc). It's rare but it can happen. Even rarer when it happens out of a blue.

So far I've gotten an exotic from blue helmet and 4 legendary primary weapons from 4 special rare engrams

1 RespuestaIDK, but I do know I had a new monarchy rank up package from before the dlc, and it gave me new gear...so we all should have saved rank up packages

Leveled up crypt arch and got a blue helmet engram, decrptyed that and got helm of Saint 14
