First, be sure you are logged in to an account that purchased the Taken King. Only accounts that have purchased TTK (or redeemed a TTK code on that account) can purchase the standalone RoI. In the Xbox live store, search for "Rise of Iron". Two results should appear. You want the one that says "Preorder" in the title.

  • I bought it on gamestop to get the code then i clicked the thing to redeem it and it gave my account balance 30$ and it was 100% the right account and when I go to the Bungie store and click Xbox one retailer and it takes me to the store this happens https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/destiny-rise-of-iron-pre-order/c3tbg0pc3fc9 and it says this Release date: 9/20/2016, 2:00:00 AM but if that happens you cant pre-order it see what i mean?

It will show as not available until you log in with an account that has purchased TTK.

  • I am trying to do this same thing through the xbox. I have the GS credit, but when I click the pre-order button nothing happens. The button changes to "working", but nothing ever happens. Anyone else have this issue?

But if you continue to have issues completing the order, I'd advise contacting Microsoft.
