So let me see if I understand this.... I paid the same but I don't get as much?
Hmmmm... Just a curious thought - Destiny costs the same between platforms but one gets significantly more than the other in "exclusive" content....
So it seems I'm paying Bungie game developers to create and maintain content that I can't play - that MIGHT be unlocked at a later date that hasn't been specified (and I'm doubtful it ever will) . Why do I feel like I'm being told to ride in the back simply due to the fact that I have one particular console instead of an other? I can understand exclusive games - but not exclusive content at the cost of one group for the benefit of another.
I'd like to make more comparisons and comments such as the game world plague of micro-transactions (eve*cough*vers) but then this would start to sound like a rage rant instead of an curious observation of a person who feels like while they're part of a club... but who just isn't allowed past the front lobby.
Edit - thanks for the comments so far - some of the better ones are filling in some of the gaps I was wondering about.

5 RespuestasI think exclusive content is fine, and you see it with most titles nowadays. What I don't agree is an entire year lockout of that content. Every other game with exclusive content only locks the content for a month.

1 RespuestaIt's simple really. The extra content on ps4 actually does cost more money. The big difference here is Sony paid the extra money for the consumer. So while I understand your frustration, your point is moot. I do hope you guys get the content soon.

We pay the same and get the same content. However, Sony paid Activision whom controls Bungie to make extra content and provide it to the Sony users for an exclusive period of time. The content Xbox users received at a later date is content that Sony exclusively paid for to have made. Xbox users are lucky to even get the free content that Microsoft failed to pay for in the beginning.

honestly I'd much rather not have PS exclusives because we have to have Sector 618 every single time I play crucible. [spoiler]i hate that map so much now I literally quit whenever I get it. if I means we didn't have to have the weapons that would be fine because they are both decent but nothing game changing[/spoiler]

Didn't care while I was on xbox, switched to PS4 and I still don't use the Jade Rabbit and haven't gotten the Zen Meteor but neither are game changing or really that great to have

for the best Destiny experience, witness it on Playstation 4 that's what the commercial said, you've been warned. I took heed to it and got a ps4 because I wanted everything that Destiny had to offer ...so .... its you guys fault that you went with sickbox I mean Xbox sorry

I wouldn't be bothered if both consoles got an exclusive, and then after a few (max 6) months, they were available on both consoles with a new exclusive for everyone to chase. Seems like the best way to make everyone happy.

I'm on PS and I think exclusives suck. The difference is I don't whine about it, it's not like Destiny is the only game that does this, MS does it just as much if not more. I dislike any exclusives for any platform.

Hopefully this example will make sense to everyone saying "its not fair, we pay more for less." I will use the new "Destiny: The Collection" for this example. 2 guys that have never played this game decide to try it out. Guy #1 has a PS4 Guy #2 has the Xbox One The price tag on "Destiny: the Collection" is $59.99 and so far here is what both guys shopping carts look like. Guy #1- $59.99 Guy #2- $59.99 Oh but wait, there is more content that originally isn't given with the $59.99 price tag. It would cost an extra $4.99 for this extra content because of course they spent the time and effort to make it. This is the point were Play Station stepped in and said "Hey, we will give you DOUBLE that amount UP FONT (estimated of course), IF it is only available to our customers." So now this is how the 2 carts look Guy#1- $64.98 - $9.98 (pre-paid by Play Station) = $59.99 Guy#2- $59.99 You did not pay more for less, you paid the same. PS payed out of pocket for the extra content to give to their customers. Its a marketing strategy, plain and simple. Originally the content said "exclusive until ATLEAST fall of 2016". I would be willing to bet that for it to become extended another year, PS dished out some more cash. They saw Bungie planning to drop PS3 and Xbox360 which meant a high number were about to upgrade consoles. They held onto the content rights for exclusives to try and swing more customers toward the PS4 I personally bought the entire Taken King PS4 bundle about this time last year and traded over to Xbox One a few months ago due to thats where the majority of my friends are. As far as exclusives go, you aren't missing anything.

Bungoe has [b][i][u]NOTHING[/u][/i][/b] to do with it. Just be happy you will get it eventually. Granted its a bitch when they move it back for you guys for no reason, but shit happens.
