The Vortex Grenades on the Warlock and Hunter should be changed to actually be a "Vortex", and draw things into them.
Tornadoes, Whirlpools...the Dictionary reads:
something regarded as drawing into its powerful current everything that surrounds it:
the vortex of war.
Reasoning:
Their damage output is subpar compared to all the other grenades.
Sucking an enemy into the vortex would help address this imbalance and greatly vary how and when they are used.
Effects:
If you aren't actively trying to move away from the Vortex, you slowly get pulled closer and closer. When trying to go in the opposite direction, movement is slowed as with the mines in the PoE.
This should also be applied to the Void Warlock super as well as the Sunsinger Solar Flare Grenades.

I agree, right now the Vortex grenades are just poor in almost every situation

Change vortex to axion or scatter on hunter, Change vortex to voidwall on warlock.

I see where you're coming from, but all I want to change about vortex grenades is the fact that if you throw one right at someone's feet, [b]it literally bounces them outward, away from the center of the vortex.[/b] Watch next time you do it, or... Watch next time someone throws one at your feet, it very literally gives you a helping hand/head start going outward from the center of the grenade. Backwards, I can't be the only one who's noticed this.

That was a thing in the beta, when I used voidwalker adds seamed to be sucked in, also solar grenades burned without Viking funeral, they got rid of both of the is things, I do want the vortex part of the vortex grenade back for adds, they should make it almost useless in pvp so there is no salt, almost no voidwalker a use vortex, there other grenades are just better

The movement should be very slow, but I do agree it should be a thing.

I say reverse this idea. Each tick of damage pushes enemies in the field out of the area of effect. Repulsor like or the exit point of the vortex (were does this energy come from anyways?) Uses -Pinning bosses against walls. -block hall ways of low teir mobs. - push players off of control points, savage,sparks -

I don't want another reason to nerf my Nightstalker. Maybe have an exotic to do that for voidwalkers or something.

Eh talk to me when you use thermite grenade. Four extremely slow moving bursts can't even kill the lowest armored guardian. At least vortex can kill.

Vortex grenade is fine. Use it to deny areas in pvp with the bigger radius / last longer perks (on warlock at least). I use it this way, people are heavily punished to underestimate it by running thru / staying in the grenade. They get one tapped by my HC.

The NightStalker Wombo Combo is already overpowered... It doesn't need that extra pull factor.

Semantics is never a reason to ask for balance changes. Vortex Grenade deals greater damage on impact and lesser damage over time to enemies in its radius. This is meant to promote its use in area denial. Realize that Vortex Grenade deals enough damage to kill anyone with any armor. However it rarely if ever deals its entire damage because people walk away. If you couldn't walk away (not discussing all the other implications that has) then the damage would have to be nerfed to compensate.

If anything, vortex mastery from lock should gives this or as a exotic armor perk.

Change the pulse grenades so it can pulse enemies around the grenades blast radius also make flash bangs take effect on impact
