The Beauty Of Blues

A couple of weeks ago I was farming the Lvl 28 Prison of Elders for the old Armor and weapons (a few Year 1 Exotics here and there) when I got a Primary Dechorechet (think I spelled it wrong) engram. The old Blue engrams from Year 1. I ended up getting a Nirwens Mercy type of pulse rifle that turned out to be really good. It had Reactive Reload and some stability booster. Now if you been playing since Vanilla Destiny you know that there have been a number of perks removed/changed on certain weapons. When I saw that a Pulse rifle had Reactive reload I was shocked. Pulse rifles can't even role with Reactive reload anymore because of the Two Shot burst problem that was happening in the House Of Wolfs. Why is this a possibility? Well its because Year 1 Blues still have the old perk pool for each respective weapon type (might be wrong, don't quote me on it) so its possible to role Reactive reload on Year 1 Blue pulses rifles (along with Final Round and Extended clip on Year 1 Blues). After watching videos Kruzer and NKuch did on a Year 1 Blue sniper (Scipio-E), I've become obsessed with Year 1 Blues (yes armor too). There's some really great Blue weapons out there from Year 1 that would be great to have. The only problem is if you really want to get them you have to have a low level character (like 8 to 16) and just decrypt Blue engrams on it. Automatically makes them Year 1 Blues. Does anyone else appreciate Year 1 Blues like I do?
