[Clan Founders] United Clans wants you!

Our chat, United Clans, is a meeting place and resource for clan founders. Whether its for advice, news or something bigger. We hope to get as many clan founders who want to make a difference in the Destiny community as we can. With the announcement of private matches we will be able to easily setup clan v clan competitions and matches.
We use the BAND app for our chat and only require one thing for a clan to join our coalition. In order to keep our chat from being filled with potentially inactive members we require your clan to have at least 50 members. Don't have enough members? Feel free to ask us for advice on recruiting!

8 RespuestasOnce you bring in members, it can be challenging to keep them. It can be exhausting and time consuming to research resources. It can be difficult to make tough calls about requirements, booting, and admins. This group is intended to bring together clan leaders facing the challenge of organizing large groups via limited resources that are constantly in flux. Recently I was asked by Shadow to a Band chat to discuss changes we wanted to see in the clan system here. We have run into each other here tangentially, troubleshooting and recruiting in the forums. We invited a few more clan founders we knew and decided that we would like to get in touch with other friendly, dedicated founders managing clans of a decent size (had at least 50 active members). [spoiler]People who have been known to troll or harass our clans are not admitted, which has led to some saltiness and a copycat group run by an exhaustingly spam-happy attention seeker. Maybe their group will do good work so I don't wish anyone who joins them any ill will. Game on Guardians. [/spoiler] HOWEVER if you've made it this far, it's time to talk about me: Know that I am sincere. I work hard for my clan because I believe in our mission. I enjoy playing this one game alone. I check in with my clan from dawn til dusk. I want to help people make friends in spite of the wickedness of the Internet in general. I don't need recognition because I have a passion to serve, volunteer, and rejoice in the happiness of others. To this end I have joined in this Band for founders. A simple forum for people like me. No glossy Bungie group or grandiose intentions. Just people doing the best they can to bring joy to other people. This was my proposal for our mission: [quote]To discuss administrative strategy and develop a refined list of improvements needed for maintaining clans. To make a combined appeal of our recommendations to Bungie and make it easy for our members to voice their support. To quickly share information and troubleshoot admin,captain,member, and clan/group changes as Bungie is not always clear or timely in their rollouts. To review, research, and recommend outside resources for clan management including chatrooms, calendars, social media, apps, streaming, and storage. To compare and contrast group strategies for enforcing code of conduct, activity requirements, shared admin duties, player retention, event hosting, etc. To assist new clans with recruitment strategy and mission focus. To give clan founders a place to meet and support their peers, fostering collaborative and competitive inter-clan relationships.
