Lag and poor communication aside I don't see the big deal with shaking things up a bit. I do wish Bungie would communicate more about changes and seek feedback and play testing from the community so we could plan better for these adjustments, but the game is more balanced now than ever. For the most part I feel like those complaining about the change are people who just have one favorite crutch weapon or class and don't want to change. My advice is learn how to play with a wide range of weapons and classes. There's lots of viable guns and builds which are fun if you don't mind taking a hit to your K/D through the learning process. If they nerf your Doctrine switch to Hand Cannons. Nerf Hand Cannons, switch to pulse rifles. Nerf Sunsinger, switch to Bladedancer. I'm still waiting for the Defender, High RoF Scout / Sidearm meta personally, Then I'll show ya who's boss. These are extreme examples of course, but for god sake how about some variety? The only people I know who are complaining right now are my friends who had multiple hunters because they were practically and statistically the best PvP class no matter how you sliced the data and now they're more in line with the others. As the saying goes, "The only constant is change." so be prepared for it when it comes.
