Randal the Vandal (Vanilla, TDB, HOW, TTK, ROI)

OK, you are a level 15 Guardian patrolling the Cosmodrome doing bounties. You go to the Forgotten Shore since you know there is a really strong Hive Knight there. You kill everything on the way there, until you spot a single Vandal and a single Shank. You kill the shank instantly and go for the Reaver. He kills you quickly, you only taking off a sliver of health. You and the Vandal spend nearly 5 minutes fighting, him killing you every time. You finally kill him and go to orbit, forgetting your bounties. Fast forward. You are a level 31, once again patrolling the Cosmodrome, hunting Blades of Crota. Your sparrow is on fire due to taking damage from a skiff and some Fallen. You are passing through the Forgotten Shore and a Reaver Vandal destroys your sparrow. You run to it, it is accompanied by a shank, which falls from two shots from your scout rifle. You use every weapon in your arsenal, including your super, to fight the Vandal. It takes almost a minute to kill a simple level 8 Reaver Vandal. Fast forward. You are a level 34, the top of the top. You have grinded and cheesed your way through Crota and Skolas by using your awesome rocket launcher. You are patrolling the Cosmodrome to do Petra's bounties because it gives you loot and you have an attraction to her. You are at the Forgotten Shore hunting Drevis, Wolf Baroness, she does not spawn. You see a level 3 guardian fighting a Reaver Vandal. You fire a rocket at the Vandal just as the level 3 dies. Wolfpack rounds don't do too much damage to it. You fire all 7 rockets from your Gjallahorn right into the Vandal, he has a sliver of health left. You run up and punch him 5 times, and he dies. Fast forward. You are a level 40. You have bested Oryx, killed him in his own world. You carry his soul in your gun, a Touch of Malice in a nice scout rifle. You are grinding Heroic Strikes, you get S.A.B.E.R., you grab your sparrow and drive down. You meet a Vandal and Shank and decide a little battle won't hurt. You test out your Touch of Malice on both. The shank dies, but the Reaver is taking little damage. A mere level 8 Reaver Vandal has the balls to run up to you and punch you. You enter a melee battle and you die. It takes all of your strength, super, grenades, melees, and secondary ammo to murder it. You feel satisfied, and say to its dead body, "You're terminated, mother f****r!" Fast forward. You are slowly rising up the level caps. You have gotten countless loot and you love Lord Saladin more than ever. You have seen the Devil Splicers and murdered every one of them. You are preparing your raid team when you decide to do some patrol because there was one quick bounty needed to be done. The rewards will be enough to fully upgrade your Year 3 Gjallahorn. You go to the plaguelands and find a SIVA Shank and SIVA Vandal. This Vandal is yellow-barred. You think nothing of it. You kill the shank and the Vandal charges. You enter a fist fight, and you are actually doing some damage. He kills you anyway, and you spawn a few meters away. This Vandal, however, is different. It abuses code, special Vandal. You realize it has a name, and it was something suggested by many users. A special mini-boss from a long time ago has been update. You see it. "Randal the Vandal 2.0" The Vandal's armor shatters and then reforms anew. It follows you across the field. You keep firing as many things as you can, but it regenerates it's armor as quickly as you fire at it. You run around a factory pole spewing liquid metal. You should charge/landfall/bladedance it off into the molten liquid. It burns, the fire burning it faster than it can regenerate. It finally dies, and a purple engram waits for you at the postmaster when you leave for orbit. You completed your bounty, "kill 14 shanks," you killed Randal. And then you realize... Bungie has had fun with their game by making a community boss a reality.
