It's not an AE. It's a small field. It's a straight line. It trades radius for range. Just saying. That's like saying "I can't strife left and right when I'm in a wall of fire grenade." Every Grenade is different. Over used yes. But different. A flux grenade literally does nothing unless it's attached to someone. It has 0 radius. It just so happens that trip mine sticks and has range. Not a hunters fault if you don't see a big ass red beam split the sky revealing its location before you charge guns blazing.

I meant to say volume of effect. The volume of a cone more specifically. Yes but that big red flashing thing lies a bit. When it's placed it flashes out in the area that it will detect. From what I've seen from my own grenades and other people's grenade, the grenade has activated at points that are not highlighted by the red flash- points outside the radius of the come at a certain range I mean. Same thing lightning grenades. During charge up time it flashes a few bolts. Weirdly enough though the bolts do not display anywhere close to the size of the field. Spike grenades don't have this problem for reasons you can deduce quickly.
