Triple Threat Titans 38- Flynn

Triple Threat Titans Chapter Index **This Series is in multiple points of view. In this chapter it's from Mark-54's view** Of course, Flynn is the one that shows up. I have nothing against him. We just don't get along anymore. In fact, I still idolize him. You see, the whole, I outmatch you by ten years, thing is true. When I first arrived at the Tower, he was the first Hunter to greet me. This was two days after Mia fell out of the sky. (In other words, Mia had been a Hunter two days longer than me.) Since Flynn became a Hunter, he was a Bladedancer. Then he began to master Gunslinger for five years before I became a guardian. After my first Crucible match, (A week after I met Sarah) Flynn pulled me over and told me, "Hey. Little bit of advice. No offense but, you're struggling with Gunslinger. Maybe you should start off as a Bladedancer." "What authority do you have over me?" I asked. "Ten years," he replied. "Thanks for the tip. I have a feeling that I might need a little more help." "And I can help." From that day on, Flynn took me under his wing. For five years, he taught me. Then I began to stray away. Alone. In the wilds. I didn't show up to meet up with him on Venus. Then he tracked me down. He found me in the European Dead Zone. We got into a huge argument. A master vs. apprentice argument. Those always end badly. You know how bad it is when Cayde and Zavala argue. Master against apprentice is 10× worse. We didn't speak to each other for a long time. He always is out in the wild for at least two weeks before coming back to the Tower. I would get in contact with every Hunter just to make sure Flynn was still alive. But every time we see each other, we argue. And now here he is, with the guts to show his face. "What the f**k are you doing here?" I asked. "Why do you ask?" Flynn asked. "Does Captain Loser know you raid his wardrobe?" "Do your retarded friends know I'm about to kick your **s?" Sarah looked like she wanted to intervene. But she knows she might make it worse. JJ did it for her. "Whoa! Ease the tensions. We fight the darkness. Not each other. Unless we're in the Crucible." "You know we are on a Crucible map, right?" Flynn asked. "And I'm outta here!" Sarah said, slowly backing away. She turned around and ran. Cody was offended. He walked up, and grabbed Flynn by the neck and choking him. He shook Flynn, questioning, "Do I look retarded to you!" Flynn barely was able to say anything, "----No.---- You----look----like---- a----pint----sized----ogre." Chase was not particularly happy. "Cody, drop him!" Chase yelled, "We fight the darkness. Not each other." Cody dropped the Hunter. "Don't fight each other!" JJ shouted. "Why?" Flynn asked. I was about to smack him upside the head. "Sarah gets conflicted, these days," JJ said. "Conflicted?" Flynn asked. "Let's just say if the argument gets rough she becomes possessed by a demon and turns into a ultra-powerful, rampaging Warlock that doesn't need any reason to electrocute you." "So a Stormcaller on steroids with an infinite overshield that is immune to all damage." "Basically." "We should get out of here," I said, "Once Sarah is on the run, she is hard to track down." "Makes since," Flynn replied. "Let's get going," I said. To be continued...
