There is a Star Wars reference. Find it.
**This chapter in the series is from Chase's view. Well he got pranked, big time**
I woke up stuck to the roof of something. I tried to wiggle free. Didn't work. I just was stuck there, with my body duct taped to the roof of something.
I was close to the ground, like 3 feet off the ground. I learned to be claustrophobic when Blake, JJ, and I went into that Hive tunnel.
I am in something that is duct taped to the roof of something. A sleeping bag. Seriously? I slept in my tent! I didn't use one.
"Puma!" I called.
I swear I heard Cody say, "He's going wake up like, a million feet in the air."
"Why do you think I said to duct tape him to the bottom of his ship?" Kyra replied.
"I can't wait to see the look on his face," Blake said.
"We good to go?" Mark-54 asked.
"Fire up the Falcon, Chewie," Cody called.
"Raarawg!" Mark said in his best Chewbacca impression.
With that my body began to lift with the ship.
Ten feet. Fifteen feet. Twenty feet. Thirty feet. Fourty feet. Fifty feet. Sixty feet. Seventy feet. Eighty. Ninety. It kept going higher.
It was daylight, now. Kyra, Cody, and Blake waved goodbye. I screamed as my head began to spin.
I soon realized that Mark was taking me into space. I prayed that my head wouldn't explode.
As we tore through the layers of the atmosphere, I got more and more nervous and nauseous.
"Mark! You're gonna kill me!" I screamed.
He had a radio playing "Pour Some Sugar On Me," cranked up to the max to drain out my screams.
"I'm hot, sick, and sweet, from my head, to my feet," he sang.
Instead of my head exploding, I had a horrible acid reflex.
The vomit floated everywhere. Sometimes flying back into my mouth. And then I'd throw it back up again.
The ship neared Mars. We entered the atmosphere and the vomit burned up as I threw it up.
He flew over the Crucible map, Blind Watch, going in circles as he landed.
I'm sorry to say, that whatever storm was there cleared as Mark landed it.
Sarah was standing there infused with Arc energy. JJ just smashed the ground next to her.
Mark got out of my ship. Cody, Kyra, and Blake showed up a few seconds later.
Thankfully, my mouth had nothing coming out of it. I just belched.
"I'm surprised he lasted that long," Mark said.
I upchucked between words, "I--- screamed--- a --- mill---ion --- times."
"Okay you can let him out now," Sarah said.
"My knife can't slice that," Mark said.
"What?!?"
"You see when Kyra and I duct taped him, we did like 85 layers. If I try to use my bladedancing knife, I'll electrocute him."
"If I even touch the tape, I'll electrocute him."
"Lightning grenades won't do any better," Cody said.
"Don't look at me. Void grenades won't put a dent in it," Kyra said.
I saw the boots of another Hunter walk up. His voice was slightly reedier than Mark's. More human voice than exo.
"I can help. You just gotta flip the ship over," the voice said.
Mark objected, "But that will damage-"
"Whatever experience you have as a Bladedancer, a pilot, a prankster, a loot tracker, a conquerer in the Crucible, a Hunter, remeber that I outmatch you by ten years time. You already owe the poor guy enough. Now flip the ship over."
Mark sighed. He struggled for a minute. But he managed to flip it over muttering, "The Vertix twins tried to pull this prank on me."
"Alex and Zane don't know how to pull this off," the voice replied.
With a loud Crash, the ship was on its back. I closed my eyes.
I heard the flames of a Golden Gun bullet burn off part of the duct tape.
I stood up, asking the mysterious Hunter a question, "Who are you?"
The Hunter stared me down, with an answer, "Flynn."
To be continued...
