Q: First of why is there even a cap on glimmer?
Seriously, who thought 25,000 is a good cap that is shared between ALL characters?
A: I say increase the cap to 100,000.
Q: Second, why doesn't killing any enemy not give you glimmer?
No MMORPG that I know doesn't have some kind of gold popping out of a monsters body once you kill it. Seriously, farming for in-game currency shouldn't be this tedious or annoying especially for one that you have to buy in order to play.
A: I say either let a small amount drop into your wallet with every kill or add glimmer as a item drop.

Raise the cap or take cap off. I can save money unlimitedly in real life. So why can't I do it in games that I bought with real money? Smh (:
-
never had a glimmer problem, use your ether seeds, black wax idols, blue polyphages and whatever the heck the cabal thing is and evry enemy will drop glimmer
-
I've got over 500 House Banners, etc sitting in the vault....never occurred to me that I had a glimmer problem.
-
One thing I have done in the past is not cash in any silken codex or other glimmer drops like that if I have high glimmer and doing activities that I know will produce glimmer. Store them in the vault until you may need them. This is one way to get over the glimmer cap. They have taken away quick ways to get glimmer to make it more of a grind, but I have found I don't use that much glimmer either...of course I don't play like I used to.
-
Glimmer use to drop on ALL yellow bar enemies, they took that away from us. Lots of things they have taken from us.
-
My current strategy is to keep my glimmer at 20k Whenever it hits 25000 I buy 5k worth of weapon parts The exchange rate is terrible, but at least weapon parts convert to faction rep Anyone know any other decent glimmer exchange items?
-
I didn't know glimmer was a problem
-
I also don't know why all enemies don't drop loot. In any other rpg every enemy drops some sort of loot. Either money, gear you don't need, or crafting mats. Destiny would be much better and feel less of a grind if purples were somewhat harder to find but blues greens and commons drop from every enemy.
-
It used to ... Now if you want to do it you have to use the glimmer farming material where before it simply just increased the glimmer you earned
-
Because then people would farm the light beyond mission on the moon

Editado por Cry: 1/15/2016 6:10:40 AMHey, just be happy they haven't decided to start making us buy glimmer with actual money.
-
Now they want you to run around with a ghost for each enemy type. Pretty weak when getting ghost drops over 300 comes from limited sources. And why the heck does the crucible ghost gives glimmer off kills of certain guardians?
-
Editado por seraphic_thunder: 1/13/2016 7:25:36 PMPart of the problem would also be solved if you could spend glimmer more instead of having to use marks for EVERYTHING.
-
The idea been brought back to them before but nevertheless bump. Good feedback get bumped.
