To be honest...I'm not too surprised you aren't calling people that.

Yeah, I despise people throwing that word around. I don't take much offensive when I am called that, but I know more than well what it actually means... And it's just sad to be called that just because of my heritage.

While I can never understand to the full extent of what it's like, I've been to Germany and know how deeply rooted the lessons of history are in your culture. It's rather beautiful to see an entirely people strive for a better future for mistakes that really aren't theirs. It's an experience that I don't think many other counties have to the same extent.
