So its been a year of many unique weapons and weapon types and as the year went on guns were altered to fit within their respective class of weaponry. Early adopters watched the auto rifle go from a bullet fueled lawnmower to something that is not the main option. The shotgun has been on the topic of many as one with opinions being split right down the middle and hand cannons no longer be an alternative to the sniper.
Now for my opinion. I think the guns are good as is. Most guns play within the parameter of their class in PvP and PvE. There just isn't any real need to go further with rebalancing. Besides if the Devs are no longer needing to revise the statistics of our guns this would give them time to look into content for the game which alleviates a problem we have all agreed on. Simply needing more things to do.
Update: thanks for the statistics guys! While both are close it seems rebalancing is still something that players feel needs some work. Hopefully this helps developers know what may or may not need work. If you feel like something needs work, post it down in the comment section. Think it's good where it is? Tell us why and where you want Bungie to put resource into next.

2 RespuestasI personally sense that snipers are too strong in PVP since TTK dropped. Iron banner was a total and complete snipe fest like I've never seen before. I suspect that some of the more common legendary snipers have higher aim assists than snipers in the past (1000 Yard Stare sure feels like it) though I have not looked up numbers to confirm this. Could also be that I suck at not getting sniped more than I used to.

Im good with how it is autos have enough damage to do work and scouts kill as intended as long as ur accurate pulse rifles are pretty strong now but not unbeatable and hand cannons are at an appropriate range, shottys are finall not hittin dumb ranges unless u got universal remote and snipers have always been balanced in my opinion no real opinion on fusions though dont use em enough

4 RespuestasThe guns are as dangerous as the player wielding them, a good gun is a bad gun if a player can't aim for shit and the opposite goes for good players, I believe everyone has the potential to find the right weapon/class to suit their strengths, which is why nerf cries annoy me so much, it's just laziness from the people who cannot b bothered to explore their own strengths and weaknesses.

1 RespuestaIt's better, but I think... 1) fusion rifles still need a bit more range. 2) side arms need a little more impact 3) This may just be because I like scout rifles, but I feel they should be a 2 shot kill. If pulse Rifles can spray a 2 shot kill, 1 body +1 head shot should also be a kill with a scout rifles. As far as PVE goes... - I'd just like to have good rocket launchers back in the game. My 310 tracking raid launcher feels like crap.

They still need small tweaks in my eyes, for example I think hand canons need a slight damage and accuracy buff, but I think to balance it they should lose a little stability or something

2 RespuestasI feel that they are very close to getting a stable meta but it still needs some tweeking

7 RespuestasWith the re introduction of two burst pulse rifles. I say that's when p rifles will be totally dominant. Before this. It's not bad balancing.

Wow pretty equal on both sides with a few in between. Impressively split statistics.

Agreed. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I have a sneaking suspicion that the year of "rebalancing" was more like tinkering to shake things up, than actual balancing. I don't believe for a single minute that Bungie ever released this game on day one, without knowing that Pulse Rifles were about as powerful as gnat farts, and that Auto Rifles were OP. I believe they did it on purpose.
