Nah Caito, They haven't. I posted this question because I used the field test weapons the first week they came out and there was no level cap problem with any of the guns. You must have just bought Taken King day one so you weren't aware. the first week the field test weapons came out, anybody could pick them and use them all to get gunsmith rep. next set of weapons that I saw, they were all level 38. also I noticed even after buying Taken King, all the missions have to be played on Easy mode unless you raise your light level, so even tho the new leveling system makes more sense they still found a way to make u have to wear certain gear to do stuff instead of just using what u like and using skill. I like most of the improvements but a few annoying things like all your crucible and vanguard marks that could be used for actual equipment being erased and replaced with commendations that give u rep but don't buy u items. had over 200 marks vanish
