Potential exotic clue? - Hall of Souls
While exploring the dreadnought ten days ago I discovered a set of glowing runes floating high above one of the platforms near the Court in the Hall of Souls, but have yet to discover the meaning behind them. I was hoping that by posting a screenshot I took of them here someone might be able to identify them and clarify their purpose.

If you go through the door where the runes are you'll find some hive praying at one of the super weapon conduits. Kill him to kick off a mini event where taken spawn. After you kill them there will be a relic. If you run this relic to the cheat where the taken essence normally kills you you will be able to walk in and open the chest for a shard.

They tell you that a ritual is bwing conducted, kill the taken in the room and grab the relic that appers where the weapon power core used ro be. You can take it to the chest that kills you when you try to open it, the relic you get allows you to open it without damage

If you listen to that area, the Hive and Taken are chanting. That's where a Ritual happens and once you kill a few waves of enemies, there should be a named Major that appears.
