At the start of TTK we see the Harbingers being used against the dreadnought (as far as I'm aware) and they did nothing. Yet the Hull Breach playable area exists because the Cabal apparently crashed a ship into it. So how did a ship make a humongous hole in the Dreadnought when the Harbingers did nothing ?

Check out the card "The Coven" http://db.destinytracker.com/grimoire/allies/the-queen/the-coven Sounds like the plan was not to destroy the Dreadnought but to draw the guardians into a fight with it and the use of Harbingers may be ongoing. They say that the ones used will be "Planted in a dead thing to have children of their own" which sounds like not only are the Harbinger (minds) alive but they may still be there messing with the ship, spawning more... Harbingers. Thanks Jovians.

Editado por Nemesis Black: 9/24/2015 11:25:40 PMMaybe Oryx let them ram and board the Dreadnought. Maybe he wanted to let the Cabal get in sight of their goal before he came and took them. Nothing dies like Hope...

Botton line it was bullet proof not ship proof
-
Sparrow fuel can't melt plasteel plating
-
When we disabled the guns it weakened the ships power, allowing more damage to be dealt.
-
Did you even see how big that ship was?
-
I wish there was a cutscene of the cabal crashing into it. From cabal perspective
-
Clearly the cabal didn't reduce their speed completely when doing out of nls, or the kinetic energy was enough to overpower the dreadnought's shields in a way the harbingers could not.
-
I always though the harbingers were some crazy secret ships, not actual energy things
-
Because that was after we disabled the ships defense weapons. Right?

Editado por Cyanide: 9/24/2015 8:50:11 PMPretty simple. I have a 6 inch thick bullet proof wall. Bullets won't pierce it. Not even a .50cal. Next I am gonna drive a tank through it. Do you think the glass is going to hold it back?
