I'm never coming back...
...to the destiny forums.
Never in my life have I been a part of a community of people that are so Self Deserving and flat out Rude Haters. Be it towards Bungie, Casual Players and other Player's moms.
Can't we all just get along and realize Destiny is, yes, one of the most, kick ass, addicting and sometimes frustrating game of our day. BUT I think a good majority of us need to stop thinking Destiny revolves around "US" or Bungie needs to cater to all MY needs. Right?
Remember the good old days of games like crash bandicoot and Spiro (If you aren't old enough to remember those classics then this post is most likely for you) ?
Well back then, you bought a game and never even questioned cursing the developers for some dumb glitch you found or starting some big personal vendetta against the company because you had a less than perfect experience with their product. They did the best they could and you loved the game how it was.
The fact that Bungie does constantly update their game for better experiences has created a mentality for players that if they Hate, Rage, Threaten, Curse, Spam, or Sue Bungie they will get their way. Am I right? How low class is this Guardians?
Man my momma would have slapped me if I acted that way. But she would do it out of love to teach me that THAT way of acting out is unwarranted in society. Same to be said with the Destiny Forums. Let's be an Inviting Community instead of what it is today. What ever it is, it's disgusting.

You have the best forum I've seen in so long because of the minority of forums are crybaby stubborn punks who expect everything for a measly price of $60 if it was back in the late 80 - 90s the vanilla version of the game would've came out at$120 and never update and make the game better. The jist of this is stupid ass people want something for $60 that they could play for a whole year. Most people down there talk shit about the game then continue playing. Just play or quit and have the ideal that bungie stole your money. They didn't steal our money since the silent majority loves the game and doesn't go on forums to scream how much they love the game.

This community is a byproduct of the game at this point. Terrible game, terrible community. (Not everyone is terrible of course but the majority definitely)

1 RespuestaGames back then also had a linear structure, and didn't have a massive amount of people playing through the servers, and weren't changing everyday, or releasing new parts to the game that could change balance.

Forums are typically filled with kids and shit bags who have zero intention of being helpful. So no shocker to hear what you're saying. Find a group. Stay with then. Forget the forums. Use them to either help someone you feel like is worth it or find out info.

3 RespuestasYeah, Bungie asks for feedback to better the game, and some players' 'feedback' consists of just rude posts and self-entitled players, thinking that they deserve the content that players paying for it are getting, for free. Never have I seen so many players calling for major expansions such as TTK be made free to all players, because they 'deserve' it for putting time into playing the game. If you're going to quit the game because you don't agree with the marketing or just don't care for the game, that's perfectly fine, just don't make a mess on your way to the door.
