Some classic weapons and gear have come and gone, with no way to obtain anymore. Most recently for me, I wanted the first iteration Iron Banner cape for my hunter. Picture if you will, a vendor. Like our tentacled-faced friend Xur, or maybe like Eris or Variks. Someone who sits in the tower and can offer you retro guns, armor or class items. Say you want the classic Iron Banner cape, or the old hand cannon The Devil You Know, or the auto rifle Shadow Price. You offer up the modern equivalent, a vanguard auto rifle or the current Iron Banner cape, and maybe some glimmer or motes of light, and you get your classic gear, with current game damage/defense tables. I would love a vendor like this, because in my particular case, I got Shadow Price and the first Iron Banner cape on PS4, and I now only play on Xbox One. Does this sound like a good idea? Anyone have any improvements or alterations to this idea? Let us hear it! :)
