It's happening. If you are going to whine about it, wait till after it happens to find out what is actually bad.

  • I and many others ro know what's happened and expect redress. We won't endorce the next iteration or pay Bungie for screwing us already.

I'm not supporting or going against the patch, but what makes you think there is even 1% chance they will change it? I've never see a developer release patch notes and then change the actual patch without technical difficulties being involved. A small portion is protesting, but as you can see from the poll most people don't really care that much. Games change. People heavily protested the last balance as well and now they are the same people defending it.

That's not how you should read the poll. 1) Right now, its 42% AGAINST, 43% FOR and 15% DISGUSTED with Bungie. 2) That's consistant with most of the polling and commentary I've seen this past week. 3) Meaning, this has heavily and diffinatively divided (polarized) the community or put another way - Far worse than doing nothing. Why do you think the weapons packs were rolled out? Their answer to damage control was to -test- whittling away at the DISSATISFIED. You may think otherwise, which is your prerogative but I am a senior executive in the field and I can tell you this is a catastrophe and that they know that. Moreover, and I realize opinion is divided, the smart money says this was a bonehead move. • It categorically demonstrates the flawed design of a progressive PvE experience melded with a balanced PvP one. • It demonstrates their lack of vision, control and creativity and a REVERSAL - they didn't design for a balanced PvP experience. • It contradicts their already precarious addictive strategy and, • Broadcasts their amateur capacity for change leadership, communication and engagement and customer service. I appreciate that some people might think the fairly well articulated and broad 'protest' against Nerfageddon 2.0 is a vain exercise leading to nothing. I can assure you as an executive, that left unattended this has done more damage to Bungie, their deal and rewards with Activision and their hopes for this game than any sales figures in franchise history. Perhaps enough free Banners and Emblems, a few free shaders and weapons will convert the masses but I doubt it. Those numbers usually require executives to step down and the organization to signal radically new direction. Thanks for your feedback and interest.
