Xur Loot Table Disscusion
After going through the armory, I noticed some good things and bad things in the Xur part. Firstly, I noticed that it had Gjallarhorn inside it, meaning Xur might sell it one day. I also noticed that he apparently had Purifier Rodes so, Yay! However, I noticed that Xur had Thorn in there... 0_o This I don't understand. Will Xur actually sell it? Is this a glitch? DId Bungie put this in on accident? Let me know what you think. Is this Xur's actual table, or is this just a pile of bullpoop so Bungie can trick us with G-Horn and Thorn.

He sold gjallarhorn once, second week of the game. Remember seeing it and thinking coins were too precious to splurge on one weapon. Since then they took it out of the loot table. The reason it still shows up is you could upgrade it if you already had one when Dark Below came out.

Xur sold thorn when that was the way to upgrade exotics the first time. You had to have thorn already plus an exotic shard. Every quest weapon has xur as well. Ghorn should be legit though

Back before HoW, you could upgrade weapons to the Highest 331 attack damage through Xûr. Thorn was one of the weapons that could be upgrades through Xûr. I think Bungie just forgot to remove that code from the website. Or, possibly, we'll see something similar to that later on. I'll bet the same goes for Gjallarhorn.

3 RespuestasBack when highest attack value was 331, any exotic obtained before then could be upgraded, but only through purchasing of the upgrade through Xur, and each week Xur brought with him 5 different weapons and 5 different armor pieces, all of which were random. This included exotic bounty weapons, so TECHNICALLY, Xur did sell Thorn, but only if you already had the Thorn, so buying the new Thorn cost you 8k glimmer, an exotic shard, and one Thorn.
