What is a Destiny Clan? Legendary Pirates Clan management and membership Guide / Founder Advice

Wrote this for Our Clan but feel free to share with yours What is a gaming Clan? A gaming clan is a group of individuals who enjoy playing together and share a common passion for the games they play. What are the benefits of joining a clan? With today's multiplayer gaming, a group of close friends to play with is very important. Having a dedicated group of guys to do activities with is almost a luxury in todays gaming. Some games are very boring when played alone and can literally make you hit the off button. What's the first thing I need to do when I join? Getting to know your clanmates is the most important part of your membership. Adding clanmates to your friends list, introducing yourself and posting your availability is your responsibility and ensures your membership here. Be active in the community, introduce yourself and let people know what your interests are. Don't be antisocial, our groups loves to join parties and socialize even when not in a game. If a party is open you are free to crash in and say hello (in a respectable manner) . What can I do to help the clan? Helping your clan is something many forget about or don't really give much thought. A clans survival depends on its members. Many clans don't make it past a year but we found that The key to a thriving gaming clan is its members participation, but also what that clanmate gives back to the community. Clanmates can do many things to help the clan. The main thing is recruit. Recruiting is "the" life of a well rounded group. New faces are essential to the future and survival of a clan. Gamers don't game 24/7 so keeping a decent amount of badass pirates on our rosters is very important. How do I recruit someone? Recruiting to an already established clan Such as The Legendary Pirates is easy. When playing with a random gamer who you feel is worthy of a membership all you have to do is ask if he or she is already in a clan. If they are already in a clan we respect that and move on, but sometimes you'll get people who will tell you that their clan don't do shit. This is an open opportunity to tell them about yours. Give them enough info but let them make up their own mind. Nobody like to be rushed into joining anything. Just tell them to add you and when the time comes, he'll remember your invitation and your commitment to your clan and ask you how to join. By recruiting someone you automatically become their clan buddy. You are responsible for getting them started just like it was done with you. First let them know where we hangout. In our case, our Facebook group works best for us. We can instantly post our activities, news, tips, availabilities, pics, achievements and much more. What else can I do if im not a good recruiter? Recruiting is not for everyone but you can do other deeds that will help the survival of your clan. Such as helping out low levels, posting recruitment letters on forums, posting info about games, news and current events on our wall and whatever creative things you can think of to help your clan. How do I get help? If you follow the steps above finding people to help you should be easy. Remember that building your friends list is your responsibility and goes a long way. Posting on our wall is the easiest way to attract a helpful pirate. Helping someone is an act of kindness thats is personal. Sometimes that help goes unappreciated and can hurt the relationship and further help. When you are being helped don't abuse that persons time or efforts. Be polite and always keep that persons time in mind. Offer to do things they might also need done so they don't feel like their working. Make conversations, ask questions, reply in full sentences and make the time feel natural. Offer to help them back and most importantly dont just go to this person for help. In time the cycle comes full circle. You guys get the drift. What is expected of me as a Clanmate? We expect you to have fun and do it in Legendary Style. 1. Respect amongst mates is above all. (If you need this explained this ain't the clan for you) 2. A working mic is mandatory. (We understand tough times and bills, so if need we have resources for these situations) 3. Participation in the community. (Get involved with current activities or events, posts, comment, like, share. Don't sit in the shadows and wander why you don't see anybody) 4. Maturity We have mates of all ages ranging from 11-65. Gaming has no age in our Clan. But we expect you to carry yourself in a mature manner so that we can enjoy our time. 5. Don't be a douche bag!! We froun upon tryhards, trolls, serious glitchers, selfishness and Dough bags. Our mission statement: To be one collective mind in this and future generations of gaming. To form an example of unity and teamwork as we move along our gaming challenges. To leave a legacy and foundations for future mates. But most of all, To be forever Legendary Pirates having fun. Taino Thanks for your time and I hope this helps your clan or make you a better Clanmate.
