Elder Cipher Poll. How did YOU get it?
This is just a poll to see how you got your elder cipher.
Specifically looking at the aspect if you got it first go on your character or as a drop after multiple attempts within the same week.
Please state what lv PoE if different from poll.

Looks like it drops from your guardian's first completion of a lv 34 or 35 activity for the week.

Got mine from Skolas on the first week. Now I am enjoying the might and glory of Lord of Wolves. It's like a fusion rifle, but it's a shotgun that shoots like and Auto rifle with the strength of a sniper rifle but the reload is that of a hand cannon.

Second skolas kill, got two to drop at the same time

Did not drop on any completion of either 34 or 35 last week. Did not drop on first completion of 34 but did on 35 for this week. Here's how it went. Completed 32 with Titan. Does not drop from 32 Completed 34 with Titan nothing. Completed 35 with warlock got one. Selected queens bow Completed 34 with warlock nothing. Completed 34 with hunter got one. Selected dreg handgun Completed 32 with warlock. Completed 32 with hunter. Two more 35 to do Titan and hunter

My entire team got bounties and one of us got two haha. It was my first time on 35 but not them and I still haven't decided between queen breaker or lord of wolves

Got mine this week from the lvl 34 PoE it was my 8 total completion of lvl 34 but my first completion this week on that character

I got it after my 6th or so lvl 34 completion. Have yet to get one from the level 35 Arena.

Me and one other dude got it on our first Skolas kill this week

We killed Skolas, and then all immediately died, restating the round. But 2 of us got the Cipher off the kill.

Got 3 Ciphers this week. Just waiting to farm bosses. First, i'll get QBB, then LoW and last DP.

34 POE last weekend. Picked the shotty after waiting 4 days and getting 1k points for killing POE bosses.

1 Respuestai got two elder ciphers yesterday. one on my 34 worlock and one on my 34 hunter. your probably putting polls out because your not sure how to get it. these are the facts about the elder cipher: *You can ONLY get them from 34/35 *You can NOT farm them (only your first attempt each week will have a chance of dropping them *The weapon you choose at the beginning of your elder cipher DOES NOT have to be the weapon you choose at the end. what you choose at the beginning has NO EFFECT on what you can get at the end. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following are personal OPINIONS, with no explicit evidence to support my claims, but i have feelings they are right: The 35 has a higher chance to drop the elder cipher (both of mine came from 35, and i have never gotten one from 34) The faster you complete it, the higher the chances. The reason i say this, is because up until yesterday, i have only witnessed one person get the elder cipher and it was from the 34 several weeks ago and took us 5+ hours to complete (i was 32 and my team mates were 33 at the time). but then i did several other 34's which averaged 3 hour games, and 35's which averaged to be 6 hours each. nobody including myself nor my team received the elder cipher. now this week, (yesterday) i did the 35 once on both of my 34 characters, first attempt took 1 hour and 1 minute, 2nd attempt took 50 minutes. in both runs, me and one of my team mates got an elder cipher. so it SEEMS that the faster you complete it, the higher the chances. again, these are OPINIONS with NO facts to back it up. hope this helped.
