That would make the Strikes completely different.
At present, once a player has played the strikes several times we become familiar with the waves of enemies to expect, their order of appearance, which types/class of enemy it's going to be and from which direction.
Experienced and skilled players would likely enjoy the challenge.
Novice and moderately skilled players might well be unhappy due to the challenge of coping with the ever changing enemy assaults.

The variety can also be limited if that is what you want. Higher level enemies will feature this. The bottom half won't upset new players.
