Modifiers are a challenging way of reliving old story missions and weekly strikes all over again. However after having the same modifiers rotating for over the past 7 months, (Heroic, Nightfall, Angry, Epic, Juggler, Lightswitch, X Burn,... ) I'd like to suggest new modifiers (sort of) to add an extra dimension to daily and weekly activities. Most of the following are based off of Halo Skulls (modifiers).
[u]Activity modifiers:[/u]
[b]Nightfall:[/b] Obviously this modifier already exists, from now on this modifier will be introduced in Daily Story activities.
[u]Guardian modifiers:[/u]
[b]Kinetic Burn:[/b] Kinetic damage from all sources increased.
[b]Orbital Lock:[/b] Movement tracker disabled.
[b]Shortage:[/b] All ammo packs contain half ammo.
[b]Deadeye:[/b] Aim Assist diabled for all weapons.
[b]Siphon:[/b] Shields only regenerate by melee attacking enemies.
By Acceptance: [b]Glass Eye:[/b] Aiming down weapons is disabled.
By DarkHeartedI: [b]Fading Light:[/b] Generating Orbs of Light is disabled.
[u]Darkness modifiers:[/u]
[b]Survival:[/b] Enemy AI increased. Fallen, Hive and Cabal will seek more cover and are able to fire from behind cover. Vex will teleport more aggressively and are able to flank you/end up behind you. Hive Knights and Ogres berserk more often.
[b]Danger Close:[/b] Fallen Dregs and Vex Hobgoblins spam grenades as if they were Sunsingers. Cabal Psions are now able to throw Solar damage grenades. Enemy grenade blast radius and damage tripled.
[b]Exalted:[/b] All enemies encountered are Majors.
[b]Overshield:[/b] All enemy shields can absorb double damage.
[b]Firepower:[/b] Pike Dregs or Interceptor Psions may be encountered in this activity. Their vehicles can not be boarded.
[b]Levitate:[/b] Fallen Shanks, Hive Wizards and Vex Harpies are able to take to the air.
[b]Resurrection:[/b] Hive Wizards can resurrect slain Hive.
[b]BTDBMOTF:[/b] Adds insulting dialogue to enemies. Tier 2 enemies can teabag fallen guardians.
Edit: To clarify these are just individual suggestions. They won't all appear in the same activity.

Siphon exalted and overshield Dont they have the same effects of some skulls in halo? Same with orbital lock but thats not really special But one skull made all enemies upgraded rank and mythic skull made double health right?

What I would like are 6 player fireteams for a hard patrol. Land in the steps. No more level 3. Now it's a level 30. You like the spider tank. How about two for a PE or toss in a tank and a archon priest. Up the anty. Make it so PE drops are not ascendant material but worth something. VIP missions just became a lot harder as its now a boss fight. You're not taking down some low level shielded enemy your taking down a ultra. Of course xp increases across the board. But I'd prefer this over modifiers

It would be awesome if you could choose your own modifiers, the more you have to add difficulty the better chance at better loot and remove the useless shards and energy

Were you trolling when you wrote those down? The reason why hard mode raids aren't actually harder is because everything just has more health when they should be adding on mechanics and altering existing mechanics. The amount that they alter mechanics is either negative (taking away chalice) or so minimal it doesn't really make a difference (Detainment fields during Atheon). [spoiler]I wish Deadeye was the normal version of this game. While you're at it remove bullet magnetism.[/spoiler]

I like all of them, but Dead Eye should just be in the game anyway; I don't know if it's just me, but Aim Assist is becoming more and more annoying (especially with Red Death), and the option to turn it off should have been included at launch.

Energized: All enemies have a shield of random element (similar to Shanks,Knights, and Harpies have shields on a Nightfall, but every enemy has one)

I like these ideas. I would like to see them added to a higher level patrol. They could change at intervals like weather or when night comes. Not just on daily activities. The trade off would be that the rewards on said patrols would have to be much better.

I've got some: [b]Out of Time[/b] A time limit will set in the activity, if it ran out all Guardians get the debuff "The Song of Darkness" which - stops health regen - lower weapon damage by 50% - Guardians take 2x damage [b]Final Chance[/b] When enter a Darkness zone, when players die they can self - revive like a Warlock, but if killed again they will stay dead and can't be revived [b]Blindness[/b] When enter a Darkness Zone, brightness will be lowered to 10% and can't be changed until the activity is finished. [b]Reverse Juggler[/b] If using a Primary Weapon, only primary ammo will drop, using special weapon only drops special ammo and heavy weapon drops none. [b]Vital Intel[/b] A Target will be spotted in a random section of the activity, it could be a Captain, a Centourion, a Minotaur or a Wizard, if not killed before it reach extraction point, the area will be locked off and hordes of enemies will come, if survived then you can proceeded.

Candy Shop - All critical kills drop x2 glimmer. Hydra - If you kill a Major with a critical hit, they are replaced by two more.

Can have the raid gear and pvp gear . but allow the pve be we get the stuff . not a week later,.. or Good by a month later trash , Need to nerf it for the raid or the pvp. junk. So middle finger the pve stuff . They have been doing . MMO's do not do that junk anymore , Then op there is a few ideas that you got they could add., But if there going nerf pve all day and night and month long , it all a bunk idea.

I got one its called leech If an enemy shoots you and he as lost health he will regain health on the percentage of damage done to you. As a example. So a dreg on %50 health and he takes %25 of your health off he will have %75 health. This does not apply to bosses.
