Exotic Warlock Band "SpiritOfNecrotic" corruption, compared to Necrotic Grips
With the Exotic Warlock Band, i noticed that Spirit of Necrotic works differently than Necrotic Grips
- Corruption from Spirit of Necrotic does same/consistant damage over time.
- Corruption from Necrotic Grip does gradually more damage per tick each time it damages.
is Spirit of Necrotic supposed to be that way?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Info about these necrotic effects was provided in our [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/destiny_update_9_7_0]9.7.0 patch notes[/url]. Here's the exact quote: [quote]“Potent corruption” now refers to the longer duration damage-over-time that cannot stack and will (typically) gradually increase in damage. Necrotic Grip, Spirit of the Necrotic, and Osteo Striga all apply this. [b]Spirit of the Necrotic will continue to persist at the same damage value (not ramp up)[/b].[/quote] Based on this and your description, it sounds like Spirit of the Necrotic is working as intended!
