You do realize that quicksilver is a more advanced version of Siva right ?
But really it doesn’t matter, we’re getting down to server shutdown numbers I think bringing back Siva is the least of their worries atm.

Player numbers are very down yes but shutdown numbers? Not even close. 1. Destiny 1 isn’t even shutdown yet. 2. Every single week I see new ornaments for silver and then I see guardians wearing them. 3. Bungie store sells out items nearly instantly. 4. Bungie doesn’t charge per month to play. The terms of service say we have to get the next 2 updates or they will have to refund our money.

We’re lower than CoO numbers. They said back then that they were only weeks away from shutting down the servers. So I’m just going by their own words last time. My point is they have bigger problems than adding Siva back into the game, especially when it’s still technically in the game it’s just not red anymore.

I understand you’re whole point about Bungie not being concerned about adding Siva into the game with its current state. I’m not going to focus on that. Rather, I’m going to focus on Quicksilver vs Siva. 1., Siva is more aesthetically extreme and pleasing than quicksilver. Quicksilver just looks like metal, which we can get anywhere else, while Siva has these glowing red strips, these airborn nanite swarms, and is shown to peel back and consume other material in its replication, unlike Quicksilver. It’s why people want Siva over quicksilver. 2. Just because there is a better version of Siva doesn’t mean Siva is useless. It’s like a crossbow vs a gun. While Quicksilver is more dangerous than Siva if used maliciously, a crossbow can still hurt and damage. 3. Besides a couple of weapons, which like Outbreak Perfected, are isolated clusters of Quicksilver (Quicksilver Storm and new Axe) or inert and solid formations of the Nanites, no longer capable of their own replication (The Machinegun and heavy Glaive) we don’t really have access to Quicksilver. It’s confusing how a bunch of random Psions got access to quicksilver, especially since there has been no mention of Caital and Saladin in the season dealing with the remains of Siva and alternate timeline Red Legionaries.

D1 has a much lower player count and the servers aren't even close to being shut down. That's the beauty of the hybrid model B are running there. It allows them to keep the game online at minimum cost. Even after B stop releasing new content the game will remain playable for a number of years.

Who said that they were shutting down servers weeks ago? News that big should be very easy to find.

Reread what I wrote. I said back when CoO was failing they said they were weeks away from shutting it down. The numbers are lower than CoO now. Besides it’s not Bungie’s decision it’s Sony’s and they’ve lost a lot of money over the past couple yrs, they had no prob shutting down Concord and giving out refunds when it was costing them too much money.

Then show me Sony’s or Bungie’s financials. Player numbers are down that is a fact but we have no idea how that translates into income. The game is not on a monthly pay cycle. It cannot just simply be shutdown.
