I play on console, Xbox to be specific. I started testing boots of the assembler because it might be a worthy exotic to bring to day 1 and have noticed that when standing in an empowering rift or well, your teammate gets the expected blessing of the sky, but you, the boots wearer, do not. What would be expected from the description is that it would work like lumina, by applying blessing you get blessing. The only way for the boots wearer to receive the blessing however is to run close to the teammate before the orb detonates, not by just the application of blessing of the sky like the description states.
