Is Gambit ACTUALLY going?
TWID says it’s going on a form of hiatus in one sentence but the game mode will still be supported/live in the “world” tab in the next…
IS IT GOING OR NOT?
Edit: Thinking about it… kinda makes sense for it to be so far in the back seat that it’s pretty much in the boot… Lore wise I mean…

Too much for Bungie to simply design a new map and reskin some weapons and armor for a core pillar of the game. And then they wonder why no one wants to play it lol

1 RespuestaNo new loot, balancing or game updates for a while. It will still be playable, but not included in the Portal. Got info that there will be a new version of gambit coming in a revamp at some point in time (likely in a “Major Update”) with new modes and stuff.

5 RespuestasI am afraid, that they ruin what good it actually has, with the upcoming update. Gambit could use new cool weapons/ armor, and maybe a unique new evil boss, or bosses, and some new maps. Primaeval sounds like something truly diabolical, and it should look like it, not just be a reused game asset, covered in black goo, otherwise, they shouldn't touch it.

It means no new items. From what I've heard apparently later they're gonna update it to include some Gambit prime mechanics. I never played prime so I have no opinion on this.

Leaks said it was going in edge 6 months ago, it's only being left in the game for triumphs & it's effectively dead completely.

Editado por viiTactiiCZz: 6/12/2025 9:18:18 PMSounds like they're just telling people to not expect updates for it and to just take it as-is, also may be about to stop adding in armor/weapons or doing any seasonal challenges etc related to it. Gambit was already on life support with barely any updates during TFS (as announced before TFS launched), this is likely just the final nail for now.
