It's almost like the loss protection is only if you're a solo paired with a duo and playing against a trio.

Except that you're complaining about a loss protection that only works in a specific instance. You don't get loss protection just because you decided to play solo.

If they haven't made pvp in destiny their main focus in the course of 10 years, why would you think that would start now? Marathon having its focus on pvp will definitely have a better pvp experience than a game that's 90% pve. There's also no way for bungie to improve destiny's pvp experience when no matter what they do to it, there's always going to be those who complain about it constantly.

he is right you have to be a solo paired with a duo, but it should be if you are solo are matched against a team that isnt all solo, groups are a big advantage requesting they fix the pain points in pvp is relevant so long as the game is live, if they are providing a service its pain points should be improved, period. marathon is gonna flop so ahrd mark my words

No one will play in a team if it means they have a chance of never losing anything. Just because someone made the choice to play solo doesn't mean they need to be treated differently because of their choice. No one is stopping anyone from playing in a team.
